This route is operated once daily, on board of newly built luxurious ships departing Heraklion port at 22:00 and arriving in Piraeus ferry port at 5:00 the next morning. There is also a midday sail during the high season departing Heraklion at 11:00. The journey time is 7 hours.

Anek Lines offers ferry services that connect some of the Greek Islands with mainland Greece. The Greek destinations are: Piraeus, Chania, Rethymnon, Heraklion, Patras, Igoumenitsa, and Corfu. The following sailings are offered, connecting Piraeus with the principal cities on Crete: Piraeus - Chania (8 ½ hours), Piraeus - Rethymnon (9 ½ hours) and Piraeus - Heraklion (8 ½ hours).
